Mpho Popps Reacts to Learning That Cyril Ramaphosa Watches His Podcast. Mpho Popps Modikoane has been in the industry for well over a decade, and is still going strong. He started off in comedy, and now he is a media personality, an actor, podcast host, and gets to handle major awards shows and events as an MC.
Regardless of his talent and experience, there are moments that still feel surreal for Mpho. Currently he is one of the hosts of popular podcast show, People Need Comedy. PNC offers hilarious takes on life, culture and personal stories, with comedy at the heart of every discussion. On the podcast, Mpho works with other comedians, Tsitsi Chiumya, Farieda Metsileng, Shanray and Thabiso Mhlongo. The team recently had everyone rolling with laughter, with their White House skit. Each comedian was perfectly suited for the role they were given. Everyone brought their A-game, with humor at the centre of the act.

Mpho acted as Papa Penny, spotting his famous hairstyle, and imitating his way of speaking English. Some people felt that, it was wrong of the comedians to pick on Papa Penny’s English like that.
