Lesego Marakalla Excites Fans With Her Skeem Saam Posts. It is no secret that she is returning to Skeem Saam to reprice her role as Rachel Kunutu. A couple of weeks back, the educational drama announced the highly anticipated come back of one of their original cast members, Lesego Marakalla.
Rachel, started off as a high-school student back in 2011. She was battling a lot of issues, one of them being the untimely passing of her father Ben Kunutu. This led to her family struggling, as their mother failed to make ends meet. Rachel made it her point in life to do everything she could to live the life that she believed her late father could have given her. She even tried her luck in lotto, but did not succeed.
One day, she ran into the rich, and much older Marothi Maphuthuma, and the two started dating. This did not sit well with her family and those close to her. Well Rachel was determined to get a soft life, and ended up marrying Marothi. As expected, their marriage was nothing but toxic.
In 2020, Lesego sadly left Skeem Saam, and that was the end of Rachel. She cited an intention to take a break from acting and return to school full time. After a short while though, she returned to the small screen with a new role. Lesego joined the formidable cast of Generations: The Legacy, playing Thuso.
Skeem Saam viewers are now happy that one of their fave is back. Taking to Instagram, Lesego has just shared posts that confirm her return. This has excited her fans, who can’t wait to see what Rachel will be up to this time.
