He stated that his paternal family denied that he was one of them. It goes without saying that growing like that cannot be easy on anyone. Although Aldrin did not dwell too much on that, it is clear that the rejection affected his childhood.

He went on to advice people to be careful of who they have sexual relations with. This is because, there can be unplanned pregnancies. This in most cases has a negative impact on the innocent child. On the comments section, a lot of people shared how their fathers rejected them, from infancy.

“I was born rejected. My father’s family denied paternity. Be careful of how you have sex & who you have it with. The moment of pleasure can cause indelible trauma on the one who is conceived in the moment of pleasure. It’s an unfair burden. We all deserve the belonging,” Aldrin said.
