Asavela Mqokiyana Makes Her Debut In Uzalo. After a 3-year hiatus, Asavela Mqokinyana has fans excited as she returns to acting with a new role. The talented actress has just joined Uzalo, playing Nurse Sizakele.
Asavela got in the industry, in 2018, when she made auditions for a role in the Mzansi Magic soap opera Isithembiso. However, she was then called back to audition for another Mzansi Magic show, Isibaya. She finally joined with the cast for the fifth season of the soapie and played the role Ntwenhle. Her role, which was meant to run for 6 months became very popular, and Asavela continued to play the role for almost 4 years, until the final season of Isibaya in 2021.
After that in 2021, Asavela made her second television role in season two of 1Magic drama series Abomama. In the series, she played the role of Amogelang. She has also played Amahle Dladla in Durban Gen. Now she is back with another acting gig, and her fans are here for it. After the announcement industry colleagues like Mmabatho Monthso, Lerato Mvelase, Khabonina Qubeka and Pallance Dladla celebrated with her.
Asavela will make her highly anticipated debut on Thursday 05 June.
