South Africa Not Taking Part In Miss Supranational 2025. South Africa is one of the countries dominating international beauty pageant, around the world. Miss Supranational is no exception, as our beauty queens have always represented us well in the particular pageant.
Thato Mosehle was the first representative South Africa sent to the pageant in 2021. Thato was the first runner up at Miss SA 2020, and for Miss Supranational, she did amazingly well, making it to Top 3. A year later, our very own Lalela Mswane became South Africa’s representative at the pageant. She was named Miss Supranational 2022 during the pageant’s coronation night held at Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland on July 15. The beauty queen and TV personality bested 68 other candidates to succeed Namibia’s Chanique Rabe.
Another beauty queens who have represented the country at Miss Supranational is Miss SA 2022 runner, Ayanda Thabethe. She did amazingly well in the competition advancing to Top 10. A year ago, South Africa was represented by the beautiful Bryoni Govender. Our queen finished in the Top 12, becoming the only African contestant in the group. Bryoni was the candidates’ choice Top 25 contestants.
Sadly this year, South Africa is not sending anyone to represent the country. Miss SA organization, has shared on social media about their decision. The organization has wished Miss Supranational organization a spectacular event, set for Poland.
