Skeem Saam Viewers Weigh In On Mapitsi and Kamo’s Decade Long Beef. If you thought Brooke Logan and Taylor Hayes were sworn enemies, the clearly you haven’t come across Mapitsi Maputla nee Magongwa and Kamo Phalane. The two characters from Skeem Saam, have served viewers one of the longest standing beefs in our local shows.
Their fight started 10 years ago, when they were students at Turf High School. They constantly butted heads. Just like it happens with high school enemies, each of the two ladies had other students backing them up. When Mapitsi fell pregnant while still at school, Kamo somehow found out, and revealed her pregnancy to everyone. After high school, the two move on with their lives, with Mapitsi getting married to Thabo Maputla and having another child. She is also doing well, and is a radio co-host at Berry FM.
Kamo recently returned to the streets of Turfloop, to cause more havoc in Mapitsi’s perfect life. For the longest time, she was the only person who was aware that Mapitsi was cheating her husband Thabo with her colleague DJ Thomas. At first she blackmailed the two, and they had to help her get a job at the station, so she doesn’t expose them. Instead of stopping their affair, Mapitsi and DJ Thomas continued, and got reckless while at it.
Sadly for them, their affair got exposed in the most embarrassing way. Mapitsi was begging Thomas to not dump her, and the two had an argument, unaware that Kamo put them live on air. Everyone in Turfloop got to know of their dirty secret, and viewers are super excited. Mapitsi is played by Mogau Motlhatswi, while Mulalo Ndou is the actress behind Kamo.
