Nomzamo Mbatha Makes Her Met Gala Debut In Style. South African personalities always hold their own among global superstars. Remember when Tyla became the talk of town a year ago, at the Met Gala? The theme was “The Garden of Time” and Tyla slayed it. The Grammy award-winning musician came literally wearing a Sand Sculpture, and made headlines for days.
This year Tyla, also ate with her Met Gala outfit. She turned heads with her Pinstripe Jacquemus Gown. Other local celebs who attended the star studded event, also looked absolutely stunning on the Blue Carpet. One of those is AFI Founder & CEO, Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe, who rocked a custom look by South African designer David Tlale.
We also have Nomzamo Mbatha, who held it down as the corresponded from the carpet. She interviewed fellow A-list celebrities, and also looked regal. The multi-talented actor, producer and philanthropist, was dressed by SARAYAA from House of Nala Africa. For one of her looks Nomzamo wore a South African Merino wool keyhole skirt and matching blazer. The outfit was made by the talented Mmuso Maxwell.
