Minnie Dlamini Finally Speaks Up On the MacG Issue and Weighs In On His Apology

Minnie Dlamini Finally Speaks Up On the MacG Issue and Weighs In On His Apology. A couple of weeks back, Macgyver “MacG” Mukwevho said some not-so-nice things about Minnie Dlamini on his podcast. The controversial podcaster judged Minnie hard after her latest boyfriend Brian Monaisa announced they broke up.

On his podcast, MacG suggested Minnie being unlucky in relationships could be because her private parts could have an unpleasant smell. This did not sit well with many people, and they even called for him to be cancelled. On the latest podcast of Podcast and Chill, MacG apologized to Minnie, and went on to invite her to his podcast.

I want to apologize, first and foremost to all the female chillers, and women in general in SA I might have offended with that comment. That was not the intention. We never say things to offend people.”

I want to extend an invite to Minnie Dlamini to the show. You are more than welcome to come. This thing started on the podcast, lets end it on the podcast. She said some things, I said some things. Let’s squash it once and for all,” he said.

Well, Minnie has responded to the whole issue including the apology in a statement. The celebrated media personality, actress and entrepreneur shared how being humiliated like that affected her. She also made it clear that she has never made any negative comments about MacG, but was simply defending a woman bashed on the podcast.

To think that standing up for another woman justifies years of lies, online harassment, and degrading commentary in my name is both cruel and revealing. This is not about ego – this is about systematic misogyny,” Minnie said.

She also acknowledged that she received an apology from MacG, via his attorneys. This hasn’t moved her because the apology, came after the damage was done.

I will continue to pursue legal recourse. As a public figure and a mother, I must act not only for myself but for every woman whose dignity is violated in the name of content and entertainment,” she added.
