Denise Zimba Regrets Some of Her Choices As They Now Affect Her Kids. Denise Zimba is currently going through every mother’s nightmare. Her two daughters were recently taken away from her, and they now reside in Germany, where their father comes from.

The perfect family that she was building for herself came crumbling down after infidelity entered her marriage. A year ago, it became evident that Denise and her estranged husband Jakob Schlichtig were going though a rough time. She even removed her wedding content and posts about Jakob fro her social media.

Early this Denise revealed on X, the heart-wrenching betrayal she faced when she discovered that Jakob, was cheating with her childhood friend, Mpumi Mdluli. As if that wasn’t enough, in March, Johannesburg High Court ruled in favor of Jakob, for the custody of their two kids, Mila and Leah. The ruling has allowed for him to take their daughters, aged 19 months and 5 years, back to Germany. Now they are separated from their mother Denise.

Although, Denise has been trying to be positive, there are days, she feels the pain. A month ago, she took to social media expressing how being separated from them makes her feel. She has just shared another touching post on X, this time taking accountability for some of her choices.

“Haven’t spoken to my children in almost two weeks… my biggest regret is choosing wrong and having my children live with the consequences of my actions …😪,” Denise said.

“SA courts handed my SA citizen babies 2 Germany without their mother after I endured abuse. 2months in without being 2getha … Can the organization my estrange husband works 4 kindly assist, since u support such injustice, especially towards mothers & children, Africans at that!”
