Rev. Benjamin Dube Announces Departure from Spirit of Praise Collective

After years of powerful ministry and heartfelt worship that has touched millions across the world, Reverend Benjamin Dube has officially announced his departure from the renowned gospel music ensemble, Spirit of Praise. The decision comes after a period of deep prayer, reflection, and consultations with key stakeholders in his life and ministry.

In a heartfelt statement, Rev. Dube acknowledged the profound impact Spirit of Praise has had on his journey, describing it as an integral part of his ministry. “Through this platform, countless lives have been touched, worship has been elevated, and the message of Christ has reached multitudes both locally and globally,” he reflected.

However, Rev. Dube emphasized that as seasons in life and ministry evolve, so do divine assignments. He believes the time has come to embrace a new chapter—one that focuses on the expansion of his personal ministry, intentional mentorship of emerging gospel artists, and the pursuit of projects uniquely aligned with God’s mandate for his life.

“This decision was not made lightly,” he shared, “but I know it is time to pour my heart into the next phase of the calling God has placed upon me.”

Rev. Dube expressed deep gratitude to Spirit Music Group, the entire Spirit of Praise team, and especially to its founders, Aubrey Peacock and Matthew Nkabinde, for the years of fruitful collaboration, mutual respect, and shared passion for gospel ministry. “I depart with nothing but love, honour, and profound appreciation in my heart,” he added.

While stepping away from Spirit of Praise, Rev. Dube affirmed his unwavering commitment to the Kingdom of God. His mission remains to glorify Jesus Christ through music, ministry, and mentorship on a global scale.

Fans and followers can continue to look forward to Rev. Dube’s impactful work in the gospel space as he enters this new season—anchored in purpose, passion, and unwavering faith.
