Nkanyiso Makhanya Introduces His Latest Acting Role. A new TV drama has just landed, with some of the biggest names in the country. Among those who have been cast on Kwa-Tsholo is talented actor and TV personality, Nkanyiso Makhanya. He plays the role of Musa, a character that is quite interesting.
Set in Kwa-Thema, the drama takes us through the nitty gritties of the salon game. The storyline revolves around Zola, the queen of perfection, against Tsholo, a young woman with a dream and the streets are about to watch the battle unfold. Zola’s salon, The Luxxe, is where the who’s who of Kwa-Thema come to get their hair. She’s got everything and she makes sure her clients know it. But while everything looks perfect, Zola is cold as ice and doesn’t tolerate nonsense.
Tsholo, was kicked to the curb after being fired from The Luxxe. She then decided to open her own salon. Tsholo’s Salon quickly becomes a warm and welcoming space where the community gathers to share stories, talk about life and find comfort in laughter. As Zola watches from her throne, determined to crush Tsholo’s dreams, the real battle begins.
The series also stars Rorisang Mohapi as Tsholo, Bukamina Cebekhulu as Zola. There is also Siseko Velelo as Buhle, Khensani Chauke as Kgotso, Mpho Maisele as Naledi, Zimkhitha Letlotlo as Mroza, Paballo Sempe as Themba, Amos Ketlele as Moses and Phumzile Khubeka as Nandipha.

Nkanyiso became a household name as a presenter on the kid’s TV show Craz-e. As an actor his first role was on Uzalo as Njeza. The character is a no nonsense criminal, who however has a soft spot for his loved ones. Since this role, Nkanyiso has been bagging major acting gigs and slaying them.
