“My Body Shows That I Have Bared My Children But No Children In Sight,” Denise Zimba’s Touching Letter to Her Kids. Almost everyone empathizes with Denise Zimba. No loving mother can fathom having their kids taken away from them, irrespective of the circumstances.
A few years back, Denise and Jakob Schlichtig were a perfect family living it up in Germany with their daughter Leah. The two got married in April 2022, fussing the German and South African cultures. In August 2023, the couple welcomed their second born, an adorable baby girl named Mila. Life was certainly great.
Sadly, not long before that, cracks started to show in the marriage. Denise moved to South Africa, deleted her wedding content, and any memory with Jakob. The media personality, actress and musician began opening up about her failed marriage. It is alleged that she left the marriage due to infidelity and Jakob’s neglect of his familial responsibilities. There is also an incident where Denise allegedly found him engaged in inappropriate behavior while texting another woman, despite their child being in the same room.
Early this Denise revealed on X, the heart-wrenching betrayal she faced when she discovered that Jakob, was allegedly having an affair with her childhood friend, Mpumi Mdluli. This is the mother of all betrayals, and social media felt for Denise. As f that wasn’t enough, last month Johannesburg High Court ruled in favor of Jakob, for the custody of their two kids. The ruling has allowed for him to take their daughters, aged 19 months and 5 years, back to Germany. Now they are separated from their mother Denise.
This can’t be easy for any one, no matter how strong they are. Taking to social media, Denise has just opened up about her feelings. She expressed the love she has for her girls, and how eing separated from them makes her feel.
“I love you Leah and Mila. Haven’t seen or spoken to you since last Saturday. My body shows that I have bared my children, but no children in sight. God only knows why this is happening. The truth will always find its way. Love Mama. Happy Easter,” Denise said.
