Big Brother Mzansi’s Melino Launches A 1000 Sanitary Pads Drive. When many of his peers are exploring ways to make it in the entertainment industry, Melino, real name Mmelesi King Motheito, is doing something different. He has jumped with full force into philanthropy.
The man showed how selfless he is, when he returned the R250k, back to the Big Brother Mzansi grand prize. A month ago, the reality show star launched the ‘Let’s Feed 1000 Mouths With Melino’ Charity Drive. This was a way for Melino, to show appreciation to those who voted for him while he was still in the house. He started the project on Saturday 29th March at Majola street, Orlando West, giving away a 1000 boerewors rolls and drinks. The event was such a success, and BBM Season 5 housemate like Bonnie Bee and Luzuko came to support him.
Over the long weekend, Melino once again came through for his community. He gave away Easter eggs, at some malls, putting a smile on the faces of the shoppers. Now Melino is back with another charity drive, and we love this for him. He is working on getting a thousands sanitary pads to females in need out there. Already, many people have shown interest to contribute and make the drive become a reality.
