Applications Open for the WeThinkCode_ Youth Development Programme 2025. WeThinkCode_ recruits young people that show a high aptitude for a career in software development. We specifically focus on offering opportunities to youth with no prior coding experience.
Training:
WeThinkCode_ trains youth in South Africa to be world-class software developers that are equipped with market-relevant programming skills, and work readiness competencies built up through the dynamic learning environment.
Placement:
The aim is to ensure that youths leave WeThinkCode with a job and an accredited qualification in systems development. WeThinkCode has placed 91% of its graduates in permanent employment.
Requirements:
- Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 35.
- Applicants must hold one of the following:
- Valid South African ID
- or Valid Passport with work permit
- or Valid Asylum seekers permit
- Must Not be working or studying (WeThinkCode_ is a full-time program, you will not be able to join the program if you are currently working or studying at another institution)
