Applications Open for the Smile FM Event Support Post. Smile 90.4 FM is a bilingual (English and Afrikaans) adult contemporary radio station, broadcasting to the greater Cape Town Metropole and surrounding areas. The radio station is looking for an event support personnel to join them.

Overview:

Smile FM is hiring an event support team member to assist with event branding/merchandising, client deliveries, office maintenance, and reception tasks. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to grow in event coordination and general office support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and strike down event branding and materials (mostly weekends)
• Manage local deliveries, including gifts and parcels for clients.
• Perform general office maintenance and inventory management.
• Provide ad-hoc reception support, including phone/email inquiries and welcoming visitors.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in support, admin, or events (preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license for local deliveries.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Comfortable with physical tasks and fast-paced environments.
• Must be willing to work on weekends
