He and his wife Liels are forever globe trotting, checking out some of the coolest places that only money can buy. Towards the end of 2024, Musa bought a brand new red Mercedes Benz V-Class, which retails for around R2million. Talk about living soft! What always puzzles people, is how Musa affords his international vacations, and all the nice things.
Rumor has it that Musa won the lotto a couple of years back. He is believed to be the mysterious doctor who won R32 million in a Powerball jackpot in 2022. The unnamed doctor is said to have bought his lottery ticket for R30 on 7 November via his Capitec banking app. Upon winning, the doctor reportedly planned to continue serving the community and spend some of the cash on holiday.
Whether that is true or not, no one can deny the fact that Musa works hard. He went to school, and has bagged several qualification. After questions about his lifestyle emerged again on social media, he cleared them up with a list of all is qualification, whch includes Mater of Medicine.
“MBBCh (Wits), FC Rad Diag (SA), MMed (Wits), Interventional NeuroRadiology (Currently a Fellow-2025). One by one,” he said.
He also revealed a year ago that, he studied Accounting. This led him to banking and private equity, and now he is running a firm.
“In a parallel universe I studied accounting at university and I ended up in investment banking and private equity. I run a private equity firm and sit on random boards,” Musa said.
