Wiseman Mncube Pens Apology Over Remarks About Ashley Ogle. To err is human to forgive is divine. Earlier today, Wiseman Mncube made a mistake, that he is now probably feeling bad about. He spoke about Ashley Ogle, in a manner that made her more vulnerable to bullies.

In a since deleted Facebook post, Wiseman referred to Ashley as a colored, which seemed racist to many. He also judged her from the area she comes from, which is Wentworth. The multi-award winning actor then asked for the masses to vote for Ashley’s boyfriend Sweet Guluva, to run while he still can.

As much as some people laughed at the post, the joke didn’t land the way Wiseman anticipated. He was dragged by Ashley’s fan base, who labeled him a racist and a bully. Brands which are associated with the actor, such as Netflix were tagged on social media posts. People also threatened that they won’t watch such shows such as Shaka iLelmbe, where Wiseman stars. Some even went as far as unfollowing and blocking him.

The good thing is that Wiseman has seen his error, and he apologizes for his utterances. He apologized to Ashley, her fans and everyone, he may have hurt with his post. According to Wiseman, what he said was meant as a joke, but he takes full responsibility for the repercussions it caused.

“I now realize the weight of my words and the impact they can have, and I am committed to being more mindful in the future. I will take this as a learning moment and do better moving forward,” he said.

“I am truly sorry,” Wiseman added.
