Musa Mthombeni Goes All Out for Liesl’s Miss South Africa 10th Crowniversary Celebration

Musa Mthombeni Goes All Out for Liesl’s Miss South Africa 10th Crowniversary Celebration. One thing about Musa Mthombeni, he always celebrates his wife. Earlier this year, he organized a surprise party, to honor one of Liesl’s achievements.
The team has once again managed to pull another surprise celebration for Liesl. She thought the event she was attending was her friend’s 34th birthday celebration. Little did she know that it was her 10th crowniversary party.
“GRWM for my besties 34th birthday (or so I thought) 🥺😅🥰,” Liesl captioned a clip of the event.
It has been a decade since Liesl was crowned Miss South Africa, at the Sun City Superbowl. Her first runner-up was Refilwe Mthimunye and the second runner-up was Ntsiki Mkhize. Liesl went on to represent the country at the Miss World 2015, in Sanya, China on December 19, 2015. It has always been her dream since she was young to become Miss South Africa. Before then Liesl won Miss Soweto 2010, became 2nd Princess Miss Personality and Miss Mamelodi Sundowns 2014.
10 years later, she is still excited and grateful for the crown.
“10 years 🤍👸🏾
On 29 March 2015, Liesl Laurie from Eldorado Park was crowned Miss South Africa. My life changed forever. All my ouma’s sacrifices paid off. All my mom’s prayers were answered. All my hard work finally paid off. God granted me the opportunity of a life time – without His grace I would not have made it to that stage. A blessing. An honour.
A true Cinderella story…,” she said.
She is still much involved in Miss South Africa, and has been among the panel of judges on numerous occasions.
