Job Purpose | To supervise the Overhead Creditors department and the creditors clerks, allocating work and ensuing proper procedures are followed and adequate output is maintained. |
Qualifications | Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Financial Diploma/ Degree) |
Knowledge, Skills and Experience | 3 – 5 years experience in relevant financial administration, including financial reconciliations 2 or more years supervisor experience Expert knowledge of creditors Strong administration knowledge and ability Good knowledge of basic finance principles, procedures and applications Knowledge of management principles Strong financial systems knowledge Computer Skills – including advanced Excel Conflict resolution – Ability to deal with difficult suppliers Interpersonal skills Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work independently as well as in a team Deadline driven Ability to work under pressure Attention to detail Above average numerical ability Ability to deal with large volumes of work Time management skills Analytical thinking |
Key Responsibilities | 1. Supplier Payments • Review and sign off Payment Reconciliations for regular suppliers • Ensure suppliers Paid on time, accurately and to negotiated terms • Maintain relationship with business owners & suppliers • Ensure accurate Cash Flow requested for creditors payments 2. Reporting & Reconciliations 3. Team Management 4. Vendor Management |
