Ntsiki Mazwai Pens Formal Apology Over Recent Social Media Post

Ntsiki Mazwai Pens Formal Apology Over Recent Social Media Post. Who would have thought that some day we will see Ntsiki Mazwai fold! Well, where ever there is a lawsuit threat in the mix, one has to make smart decisions.
Over the past few days, Ntsiki went on a Twitter rant, expressing her frustration about Gayton McKenzie. She accused the Sport, arts and culture minister of corruption, dishonesty and being unethical after he allegedly blocked her from attending the Havana Book Fair at Cuba. Ntsiki states that she was personally invited by the Cubans to be at the event.
She also came after Unathi Nkayi, who was among the 15 authors representing South Africa at the book fair. Ntsiki questioned Unathi’s credentials as a writer and her inclusion to be one of the delegates.
Responding to this Gayton said, “Ntsiki, you have made very serious allegations against me, very slanderous. I will take you to court. You will have a perfect opportunity to show the court of law all your evidence. You have gone very far this time. Please start by posting your invite from Cubans.”
Ntsiki also had a series of tweets, addressing Unathi. It looks like the two ladies have a bad history, looking at how they bashed each other. Just like McKenzie, Unathi also threatened to deal with Ntsiki legally.
In a shocking turn of events, Ntsiki has apologized. She however, didn’t state who the apology is directed to. She also did not specifically mention what she is sorry for.
“APOLOGY FOR RECENT POST WEDNESDAY 19 FEBRUARY I would like to sincerely apologize for my recent post. Upon further consideration, I realize that the comments made were not only inappropriate but may have caused unnecessary harm and confusion. While the intention was to express frustration, I understand that such statements can be misinterpreted or damaging, and for that, I apologize. I also recognize the need to be more thoughtful and responsible when discussing sensitive matters, especially when it involves public figures and important industry processes. Moving forward, I will ensure that my comments are more measured and respectful. Once again, I apologize for any offense caused and will work to be more mindful in the future. Thank you for your understanding. Miss Nontsikelelo Mazwai,” Ntsiki said.
