Mrs World Tshego Gaelae’s Homecoming to Take Place In Soweto. If you think he is not being celebrated enough, then wait for her Homecoming. Tshego Gaelae is set to be welcomed home like the Queen that she is in just a few days’ time.
A few weeks back, the beauty queen was crowned Mrs World 2024, in Las Vegas, in the US. She made history by becoming the first ever black woman to clinch the Mrs. World title since its inception 40 years back. Gaelae is also the 2nd South African to bag the prestigious crown.
Of course after the news broke, she trended both on social media and the mainstream media. A few days later, Gaelae came home, and was welcomed at the airport by family, friends, fans and well wishers. It was a beautiful moment of celebration, fun as well as pride, as South Africa continues to dominate on various fields in the international stage.
Now she is about to have an official Homecoming. This will take place in Soweto. The events of the day, will start at Hard Rock Cafe, Mandela Square with a meet and greet breakfast. This will be followed by a parade from ONOMO Hotel, all the way to Rockville, for a special Welcome Home Ceremony. She will then walk the Soweto streets to see the people. All this will take place on Saturday, 22 February 2025.
