Khutjo Green Joins Scandal! As Poet’s Mother. Its about to get lit as Scandal! introduces yet another interesting character. Her name is Kedibone, and she is Poet’s mother. Now that the cat is out of the bag regarding Poet and Thoriso‘s marriage, it’s about time everyone meets his family.
Poet and Thoriso married in secret a few months back. The two have been enjoying their little secret, until Thoriso’s mum came across strange information. An insurance company removed Thoriso from being a family beneficiary, which raised alarms. After some questioning, Thosiro had to come clear, and revealed that she and poet are married.
This, as expected, did not sit well with her parents. They however, came around and asked for things to be done right. This means getting Poet’s elders in the family to come and have a discussion with the Mores. This is where it gets interesting, it seems like Poet’s family, mum in particular, already have a potential wife in mind for him. Little do they know that the man is already married. One can only wonder how the following weeks are going to unravel. Will they accept Thoriso, more so since she is visually impaired? Only time will tell.
The roles is played by none other than Khutjo Green. The talented actress is known for her amazing work on theatre. Khutjo is also a marvel to watch on the small scree, having bagged roles on shows like Skeem Saam, Generations: The Legacy, The River and Broken Vows.
