As part of its ongoing efforts to build the industry and position the province as a global film-making hub, the GFC is inviting applications for its 2025 Graduate Internship Programme.

Available Internship Opportunities
The GFC invites dynamic and suitably qualified graduates to apply for the following internship opportunities:
- Internship: General Office Administration
- Qualifications: 3 Year National Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Human Resource Management, Public Management, BCom Finance, Cost Management Accounting, Auditing, etc.
- Internship: Projects and Permits Administration
- Qualifications: 3 Year National Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Business Administration, Visual Arts, Film and TV Production, Motion Picture, etc.
- Internship: Marketing and Communications
- Qualifications: 3 Year National Diploma or Degree in Marketing and Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, etc.
- Internship: Film and TV Production
- Qualifications: 3 Year National Diploma or Degree in Film Production, Majoring in Film Producing, with modules in Script-writing, Editing, and/or Cinematography.
- Internship: Script Writing and Management
- Qualifications: 3 Year National Diploma or Degree in Film or Media-related studies, BA Degree in Film Production, specializing in Script-writing, Creative Writing, or Media Writing.
- Internship: Film and TV Production Directing
- Qualifications: 3 Year National Diploma or Degree in Film Production or Cinema Studies, Majoring in Arts Management and/or Applied Film and Television Studies.
- Internship: Camera Operation
- Qualifications: 3 Year National Diploma or Degree in Film Production, Majoring in Story Structure, Lighting, Camera, and/or Editing.
- Internship: Technical Work (Gaffer, Best Boy)
- Qualifications: 3 Year National Diploma or Degree in Film/Media Studies or BA Degree in Film Production, specializing in Camera Operation and Lighting.
- Internship: Virtual Work/Operations (Make-up, Wardrobe, Production Set Design)
- Qualifications: 3 Year National Diploma or Degree in Film/Media Studies or BA Degree in Film Production.
Selection Criteria
To be eligible for the GFC Graduate Internship Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) or any equivalent qualification.
- Tertiary qualification (Diploma or Degree) at a minimum NQF Level 6. (Note: TVET graduates must have completed their Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and obtained their diploma.)
- Must be unemployed and available for the full duration of the internship.
- Applicants should be no older than 35 years of age.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- No prior participation in any GFC internship programme.

- Certified copies of qualifications.
- Certified copy of ID (in PDF format).
Important Note: Certified copies must not be older than six (6) months.
