Musa Khawula Still In Custody. When a lot of personalities are claiming 2025 as their own, Musa Khawula is starting off the year on a bad note. The controversial blogger is back behind the bars, again, for his social media commentary.
According to the South African Criminal Justice System Twitter page, Khawula, was arrested for contravention of Section 13 of the Cybercrimes Act, 19 of 2020 and Crimen injuria. He was arrested in Dundee, KwaZulu Natal on a warrant of arrest (J50). Khawula made his first court appearance in Alexandra Magistrates Court. He is remanded in custody with no bail, and his matter has been postponed to the 21st of January 2025.
Explaining more, the departments shared that Khawula was arrested in connection with the Sandton (GP) case, but in Dundee (KZN). He was subsequently collected from Dundee SAPS and taken back to Gauteng to appear at the Alexandra Magistrates Court (GP). His arrest comes less than two months after serving 90 days in jail for contempt of court.

In the past, Musa has come for the likes of Unathi Nkayi, Sizwe Dhlomo, Lerato Kganyago, Bonang Matheba, Anele Mdoda and DJ Sbu. He even drag kids, Alakhe Mdoda and Kairo Forbes being some of his victims. Most of these celebrities have tried to clear their name with clap backs, but it makes things worse.
He has also got into a lot of trouble. Mihlali Ndamase, who he constantly torments, once got physical with him. He has also received a beating from media personality Moshe Ndiki. Musa has also been to jail quite a few times, his social media posts being some of the reasons he got detained.
