Elsa Majimbo Bids Farewell to Her Old Self. She has always maintained that once she gets paper, she is going to change. Elsa Majimbo is doing just that, and she is unapologetic about it. She started by cracking jokes on the bed eating crisps, and now shares exploits of private jets, hanging with billionaires and attending glamorous events.
The Kenyan comedian gained recognition in early 2020 during the COVID-19 quarantine period. Elsa made home-based comedy videos, and they eventually gained momentum. Her monologues were featured on Comedy Central several times in June 2020. She has also been applauded by many international stars like Naomi Campbell, Lupita Nyong’o, Joan Smalls, Anderson Cooper and Snoop Dogg.
Elsa has penned partnerships with brands like, MAC Cosmetics, Rihanna’s Fenty and Valentino. She has also bagged the People’s Choice Award for Favorite African Social Star, to mention just a few. At the 2020 Streamy Awards, she was presented with “Creator Honor” award.
Elsa is the type of personality who is not about modesty when it comes to her achievements. A year ago, she reminded her haters that she is rich and famous, and that there is nothing they can do about it. Now she is back, with a blonde new look, and many have something to say. They make fun of her, comparing her to her old self. Well, Elsa did not take the hate lying down, stating that she is a new person. After all, blondes have the most fun.
“We are gathered here today to mourn the loss of the old Elsa. She will be missed. She made us laugh. She only cared about one thing, her bag. A bag she did get and she did a 180 on everyone. You will be missed. RIP, a new me is born,” Elsa said.
