Check Out the NSC Provincial Breakdown of Matric Pass Rate. Social media and the mainstream media are going abuzz as the 2024 Matric results has just been released. The Class of 2024 has made history by achieving an 87.3% pass rate. This is the highest pass rate in the history of our country. On the other hand, the IEB matric class of 2024 has achieved an impressive 98.47% pass rate. This marks the highest pass rate in the past five years.
Leading the park is the Free State Province, which has bagged a 91% NSC pass rate. The Province is retaining their number one spot, which they held in 2023. Following behind them is KwaZulu-Natal with a 89.5% pass rate. The Province also received the highest bachelor passes at over 84 000 and highest distinctions. Gauteng and North West Provinces are following closely with 88.4% and 87.5% respectively.
