Twitter Reacts To Convicted Racist Vicki Momberg’s New Hairstyle

Twitter Reacts To Convicted Racist Vicki Momberg’s New Hairstyle. Just a few days in jail, and Vicki is rocking cornrows. Momberg was in court applying for leave to appeal her effective two year prison sentence. Her choice of hairstyle to court however stole the limelight as it trended on social media. Some regard the hairstyle as a strategy to prove she is no racist, others say prison has already turned her gangster.

Okay, I must admit I chuckled a bit when I saw the new hair-do on Vicki Momberg.
There's nothing wrong with #VickiMomberg's hairstyle…don't get me wrong, it's actually very well done.
However, in the context of her having been sent to prison, it did make me think of this… pic.twitter.com/wKZdEA4RQZ

THIS MAKES ME SO ANGRY! Dear white people, you need to teach yourself why culturally appropriating hairstyles is bad! This #VickiMomberg is clearly a racist who deserves more time. pic.twitter.com/aTTnBLuzqq

I can imagine #VickiMomberg's cell mate telling her "you know what will _definitely_ convince them you're not a racist… cornrows."

Vicki has been sentenced to an effective two years for using the K-word against police officers during a 2016 smash and grab accident in Johannesburg. Her case has been postponed to next week.
