Sivenathi Mabuya Gushes Over Her Latest Award Nomination. Africa Choice Awards is Africa’s most prestigious celebration of entertainment and TV talent behind and in front of the cameras. The prestigious awards recognizes outstanding achievements in the entertainment, fashion and creative industries. The awards also celebrate the rich African cultural heritage and the achievements of Africans who have excelled brilliantly in their various fields every year.
In just a week’s time, the 6th edition of the Africa Choice Awards will take place, all the way in Nigeria. A number of our celebrities have been nominated in various categories. Among those are Bontle Modiselle and Ipeleng Selepe, who are both in the Social Star of the Year category. Mac Junior, Nonku Williams, Nunurai and Happy Simelani are in the Reality TV Star of the Year category.
One of the most interesting categories in these awards has to be the Next Rated Female Movie Star of the Year. In that closely contested category, South Africa is represented by giants, Sivenathi Mabuya, Nefisa Mkhabela and Motsoaledi Setumo. As expected, the nominees are calling out for their fans to help them clinch the award by voting. For Sive, just being nominated alone, is a great honor.
