Quite frankly, mental health should be a priority for everyone. We go through all sorts of emotions, work hard, and just like Lasizwe, at times, we definitely need sometime off.

"I’ve successfully checked myself into a mental health wellness centre. It’s been a beautiful LONG year, TIME TO REST, RECHARGE and REFLECT.
My team will be taking over my social media accounts after this post as the show has to go on (Awkward Dates and Social Media Campaigns) and they confiscate phones here. (Literally the nurse is standing next to me waiting for me to finish posting so she can take away my phone 😩)
Also thank you to my siblings! Thank you for dropping me off here and holding my hand during the check in process!
The Sweerie, Bo Makothi I’ll see you guys when I am out and REFRESHED!
I love you," Lasizwe informed his fans and followers.Lasizwe has always been open about his mental health issues. During lockdown in 2020, he stated that he was not coping. He said the lockdown was causing his anxiety to peak, and he felt so disconnected from the world isolated.
“I’m really pray for this pandemic to end as its messing with my mental health. I genuinely feel like crying,” he said back then.
In 2021, he decided to check himself into a Mental Health Wellness facility. Lasizwe shared that he has been depressed for some time and is doing all he could to deal with the issue. As much as he has been doing very well on a professional level, life does happen, and some things can take a toll on a person.
