Boity Opens Up About Her Obsession With the Lion King. This is one animated musical that has united the world. The Lion King is centered around Simba, who as a cub, Simba is forced to leave the Pride Lands after his father Mufasa is murdered by his wicked uncle, Scar. Years later, he returns as a young lion to reclaim his throne.

South Africa has a very special connection with The Lion King. For starters, our very own Lebo M, is well known for his vocal work on the soundtrack to The Lion King. We also have a number of local actors on the film.

Currently making waves around the world is Mufasa: The Lion. The film has just had it’s LA premier with global stars in the building. Among those are Beyonce, Lebo M, Aaron Pierre, Blue Ivy, Thuso Mbedu, Dr John Kani and Minnie Dlamini.

Boity Thulo, is among the people waiting in anticipation for Mufasa: The Lion King. A few months back, she accompanied Lebo M to the US, for the Lion King‘s 30th anniversary concert. She is now waiting in anticipation for the upcoming film.
