Role Responsibilities
Restock merchandise to ensure full product availability
Store delivered stock correctly and efficiently
Monitor shelf stock for expiry dates and maintain product rotation using FIFO principles
Report low stock levels, out-of-stock items, damaged stock, and expired stock to management
Assist with stock counting and general stocktaking
Follow store layout, planograms, and merchandising standards
Maintain neat and visible front shop displays with correct labels and pricing
Build, face up, and maintain merchandising displays
Handle stock carefully to minimize losses
Assist with loading, off-loading, back shopping, and staff training
Provide courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable customer assistance
Resolve all customer stock queries and out-of-stock issues
Adhere to uniform, SOPs, policies, procedures, and health and safety standards
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric
Up to six months retail experience
Computer literate with MS Office
Willing and able to work retail hours
Advantageous Qualifications
At least one year retail experience
Bilingual
Knowledge of merchandising standards and FMCG industry
Product and category knowledge
Ability to analyse ZMORE reports for stock management

Effective engagement with customers, staff, and management
Time management skills
Physically able to lift and move boxes safely
Reliable transport or live close to the store
South African citizen with clear credit and criminal records
