Andile Mxakaza Returns to Acting With A Lead Role. He has been missing in action for quite some time now. That however, is about to be a thing of the past, as Andile Mxakaza has returned to the small screen with a major role.
The talented actor has just bagged himself a role in an upcoming series, Isthembu Sika Msongelwa. He plays Msongelwa Shange, a polygamous taxi boss who reconnects with his high school sweetheart, Asanda Dlamini and the sparks fly instantly. The thing though is that Msongelwa, already has three wives at home.
What starts off as a sweet reunion turns into chaos when Asanda learns the truth. Msongelwa’s tangled love life unfolds with jaw-dropping confessions. Asanda challenges him to leave his polygamous marriages for real love, resulting in a dramatic series of events. His wives are not giving up without a fight, though.
With love at stake, Msongelwa takes a bold stand that shakes up everyone’s world. Can love truly conquer all or will ‘is’thembu sakhe’ prevail? Viewers can anticipate a spicy, funny mix of love and drama in Is’thembu Sika Msongelwa.
Other cast members include Nompumelelo Vilakazi from Diep City fame. The award winning actress has been hoping for another gig, and her answered got answered. There is also Phumzile Mlangeni from Inkaba as well as Thandeka Shange, and Nosipho Pehlo both from Outlaws. Now this is a must watch!
