Somizi will be holding it down as the Roast Master at the highly anticipated event. The all round entertainer is quite familiar with these kinds of events. Back in 2018, he put himself out there in The Comedy Central Roast of Somizi Mhlongo. The likes of Skhumba, Ntsiki Mazwai, Nomzamo Mbatha, DJ Fresh, Gareth Cliff and Fikile Mbalula made the panel. Mpho Popps held it down as the Roast Master. Shots were fired in the evening, with Ntsiki being the most roasted. It was so hectic that to this day, some of the panelists do not see eye to eye.
Now Somizi is coming through as a Roast Master. He is promising nothing but entertainment, and of course hardcore jokes. Yes, he and Pearl are good friends, but when it comes to the Roast, it’s every man or woman for themselves.
