Lira Mourns Her Mother. The two had such a beautiful mother and daughter relationships. Lira (real name Lerato Molapo) and Buyi Radebe did almost everything together. From traveling the world, to attending functions and slaying together, they were definitely joined by the hip.
One of the coolest thing about the duo, is that their birthdays were just days apart. This gave Lira and Mam Radebe the opportunity to have a joint celebration. A few years back, they went skydiving in Namibia to celebrate their birthdays. They were joined by Lira’s little sister, making the whole adventure a family affair.
Mama Radebe was also a big fan of her daughter;s music. She usually accompanied her to concerts, and spoke highly of her talent. On the other hand, Lira always spoke how much she admired her mother. The multi-award winning singer, used milestones such as birthdays and Mothers’ Day, to tell the world, how amazing Mama Radebe was.
Sadly, the mother and daughter has come to an abrupt halt, as Mama Radebe is no more. Lira has taken to social media to share the news of her passing. She did not delve much into the cause of death, but she once revealed that Mama Radebe has been battling cancer. Lira has been receiving condolence messages from the likes of Basetsana Kumalo, Salamina Mosese, Kenneth Nkosi, Relebogile Mabotja, David Tlale, Linda Mtoba, Shashi Naidoo, Innocent Sadiki, Shauwn Mkhize and so many other celebrities.
