Kwezi Ndlovu Clears Misconceptions Surrounding Her Marriage. This is supposed to be the happiest time of her life. But sadly Kwezi Ndlovu has to deal with clearing her name, over rumors shared on social media.
The former Umkhokha: The Curse, actress is married celebrated the first part of her wedding over the weekend. Kwezi is now officially off the market and the lucky man is well-known Durban businessman Sibongiseni Mageza Mbambo. Some of his businesses include the well-known Mushroom Lounge located at 16 Chartwell Drive.
As for Kwezi, she is a talented actress, who has bagged a number of roles on major TV shows. She has appeared on popular shows including, Isithembiso, Housekeepers and Rockville. Kwezi is also known for her role as Nobuntu, on Umkhokha: The Curse. She exited the show after her pregnancy a year ago, and was replaced by another talent, Kwanele Mthethwa.
As Kwezi and her husband are well known figures, their lobola ceremony made headlines. Some people feel that Kwezi had no business rocking Xhosa traditional outfits, as she is Zulu, also marrying a Zulu man. Also, controversial blogger, Musa Khawula wrote on Twitter that Kwezi stole Mbambo from her friend and quickly fell pregnant. He also added that Mbambo is a father of 17 children and is an absent father to many of them.
Kwezi cleared these misconceptions, on a statement released on Twitter. She started by revealing that her mom is Xhosa, hence why she paid homage to the culture. Kwezi also cleared rumors about her man, stating that Mbambo was not married to anyone before. She also revealed that, she did not steal him from her friend Tina Mbambo, in actual fact, Tina is married to Mbambo’s brother.
