Influencer Snikiwe Mhlongo In A Hot Soup Allegedly for Over Speeding. Just like everyone else, sometimes our celeb also get in trouble with the law. The latest one is Snikiwe Mhlongo, who recently got arrested for over speeding.
The social media influencer and award winning content creator was allegedly driving at a speed of 180 km/h in a 60km/h zone near Fourways Gardens estate. A police officer who spoke to City Press shared that she was nabbed as a result of a speeding camera in the area. This happened while officials were conducting a routine operation.
What shocked many of her fans is the statement that Sni refused to be tested for possible alcohol consumption. She has always maintained that she doesn’t drink, so her refusal raised eyebrows. For the incident, Sni was granted bail of R1000. She is yet to share an update on the issue on her social media pages.
Sni joins the growing number of South African personalities who have been caught for over speeding. They include DJ Sbu, DJ Tita, Itumeleng Khune, Nkanyiso Mchunu and Kerishnie Naicker. Just recently Sekhukhune United player caused a fatal accident because of reckless driving. A couple of years ago, media personality Jub Jub caused an accident that claimed lives, also due to reckless driving.
