Trevor is best known as the former host of The Daily Show, an American late-night talk show. He held it down from 2015 to 2022. Through the show, he has won various awards, including two Primetime Emmy Awards. He was named one of “The 35 Most Powerful People in New York Media” by The Hollywood Reporter in 2017 and 2018.
Trevor has also done amazing, hosting major international awards. Among those include the Oscars and the Grammys. Since wrapping up his tenure as host of The Daily Show, the celebrated comedian has been hopping between continents to perform standup in some of the world’s greatest and most fascinating cities, from Berlin and Tokyo to Glasgow and Paris.
Despite all this fame, Trevor prefers a private life. In fact, it’s not easy to know about his personal life, even if you look hard enough. This is simply because he wants to live his life like any ordinary person.
Trevor was recently interview on The Diary of A CEO podcast, where he shared more light on his dislike for fame. He told the host, Steven Bartlett that hosting The Daily Show was not even about fame. It’s just that in his line of work, being famous is inevitable. Trevor yearns to be know beyond his fame, and get to do things without cameras or people looking. He wants the freedom to go to restaurants, wear what he wants without fear of what others might say.
