“Thank You My Queens for Agreeing to Give Insight Into Your Lives,” Musa Mseleku Appreciates His Wives. Putting your live out there for a reality TV show is not for the weak. More so in the age where social media users can just say about anything about celebrities.
For 7 seasons, the Mselekus have let us into their homes through the show, UThando Nes’thembu. The first episode of the hit reality show aired back in May 2017. We got introduced to businessman TV personality, reality show star and author Musa Mseleku and his four wives. Together with their kids, Musa, MaCele, MaYeni MaKhumalo and MaNgwabe show viewers how they navigate tradition in a modern world.
Like any other family, the Mselekus have their ups and downs. There are disagreements here and there, an the family solve them before they escalate. Some of the issues that the family has dealt with include Musa suggesting a 5th wife, him also wanting more kids, preferably sons, the wives not always getting along, among other things.
Despite some controversies in certain episodes, UThando Nes’thembu, has stood the test of time, and gave viewers 7 seasons. It’s also one of the most loved and watched reality shows in the country and beyond.
Although the main cast member is Mseleku, he wouldn’t have done it without his wives. They are the reason there is the polygamy arrangement, and the show. Taking to Instagram, Mseleku thanked them for being part of his dream.
“Thank you my Queens for agreeing to give insight into your lives. I started in 2013 after my book launched negotiating with you guys, you only agreed in December 2016 to be part of Mzansi Magic,” Mseleku said in immense gratitude.
