5 years ago we laid you to rest Captain K and I just can’t believe you’re not here 💔 I miss your laugh, your jokes, your wisdom (even though you’re my baby bro) I just miss talking to you 😭

My 3 year old son walked into my room the other day and I was crying because I missed my brother so much. Netha says to me “Mama are you crying coz uncle K died?” I said yes. He then said, “Don’t be sad Mama, I’m here” 😭”

I wiped my tears away very quickly and told him he was right. I have so much to deal with in my life that’s difficult but one thing I cannot do is forget that I have a beautiful baby boy sent by God and I owe him the best life possible and that includes making sure I heal so I can raise him right!”

“I lost my whole world when my brother passed including losing huge chunks of myself, but God restores and gave me my world back in the form of my son and for that I will always praise and glorify the Almighty 🙏🏾.

Life isn’t easy, but I choose to find the silver lining in every dark situation because it’s always there! You just need to live a life of gratitude, purpose and make the choice everyday to find the good. 💎,” Minnie said.
