Lerato Modise Makes A Boss Move With New Film. Since her elimination from the Big Brother Mzansi house, Lerato Modise has been doing the most. Back in June, she announced the launch of an online board game for kids. For the project, Lerato collaborated with Auko Design, and the duo locally research, locally design and manufacture STEAM 4IR educational enhancements.

After that Lerato worked with fellow Big Brother Mzansi Season IV participant, Papa Ghost on another major project. She produced Baleka, a theatre production by Ghost. This was received very well, marking a key point on their journey as storytellers.

Continue with storytelling, Lerato has just dropped a short film called, TIGHT ROPE. She has decided to share the short film with everyone on her YouTube channel.

The wait is over !

To celebrate my new chapter 🥳, I will be sharing one of short films with everyone on my YouTube channel .

The 48 Hour Film Project takes place on different weekends in different cities throughout the year. In each city local Film Teams, from beginners to pro’s compete to make a short film in only a weekend.

It all begins with the Friday night Kickoff event when participants draw genres out of a hat and receive the required elements for their film. Then it is off to the races, writing, shooting and editing and doing whatever it takes to submit your short film on Sunday night.

The big payoff is seeing your masterpiece in the big screen at a local theater. Every film, both on-time and late, will screen. There is nothing better than seeing your film with an audience and seeing firsthand how they react to your movie.

At the city awards event, the winning films, as determined by local judges, are announced. More than a dozen awards are given, from Best Acting to Best Directing to the top prize: Best Film.
