Laconco Pens A Heartfelt Message of Gratitude After SAFTA Win. Winning an award is one of the greatest achievement for creatives. This shows that your work is recognized, and just by being a nominee, you are one of the best.
Nonkanyiso ‘Laconco’ Conco knows this very well. Over the weekend, she won Best TV Presenter for Forever Thina S1 at the South African Film and TV Awards (SAFTAs). This is such a a big accomplishment, considering it was a public vote.

Gushing over the win, LaConco quoted the Bible verse of 1 CHRONICLES 16:34,” which reads,
“Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever.”
She then went in hard with her message of gratitude. The reality show star, TV personality and entrepreneur shared that she did nit expect the win, let alone be on TV.
“I’m still numb, full of gratitude for the love you’ve shown me since the day you learnt of me. It’s not long since I joined the entertainment industry, so I never-ever imagined being on TV and winning a SAFTA! Please!! Never even passed my thinking,” she said.
Continuing with her message, LaConco thanked Urban Brew Studios, Forever Thina crew members, Mzansi Magic, Showmax and SABC2. This includes all the productions, she has so far worked with. Her loved ones were also includes, as it takes a community to achieve such greatness.
