Big Brother Mzansi Season III’s Nthabi Mothusi Thrives As A Netball Coach In Saudi Arabia. She is proof that a Big Brother participant can thrive in an industry outside of entertainment. When a lot of her peers pursued music, acting, TV, radio and others, Nthabii Mothusi grew as a sports personality.

When she entered the Big Brother Mzansi reality show, Nthabi was already a professional netball player. She came in as a Limpopo Baobabs captain.

Nthabii started playing as a teenager, but didn’t take it seriously in the beginning. When she was 16 years old, the reality show star and athlete was called to play for under 19 provincial, that’s when she started taking it seriously and fell in love with the sport. Nthabii has represented the Limpopo Baobabs, TUKS and Gauteng North amongst other teams. The 180cm defender can played GK/WD/GD and also loves soccer, basketball and athletics.

At the beginning of the year though, Nthabii announced her retirement from netball. She then assured her fans that it doesn’t end here with herself and the sport.

A good dancer knows when to leave the stage”

Everything I know now is because of the game and everyone I met through it. It’s been an absolute pleasure 🥹 I’ve achieved my goal. Led my team with dignity and straight up to where I said I’d lead them to.

It’s not goodbye, I still have so much to do in the sport and the country. It doesn’t end here

🏆🥂,” Nthabi said.

True to her word, Nthabii is still very much a big part of netball. She is now a coach, in Saudi Arabia, making herself, and the country proud.
