Thando Thabethe Throws Us Back to Her First TV Acting Role. She has really come far as a formidable entertainer. Like many of her peers, Thando Thabethe started off in theatre productions before coming to the small screen.
She made her acting TV debut in 2010 when she landed the role of Thando Nkosi on the hit Sitcom, My Perfect Family. The hit show went on to see a total of 3 seasons with Thando starring alongside legends, Lillian Dube, John Lata and Baby Cele.
Since then, the award winning actress, media personality and entrepreneur has bagged numerous role n major shows. One of the roles many will remember Thando for is playing Nolwazi Buzo in Generations- The Legacy. She also bagged the lead role of Zinhle Malinga in the feature film Love Lives Here. Other acting highlights include REYKA, BLOOD PSALMS, Housekeepers, How To Ruin Christmas- The Wedding and the sequel The Funeral, among others.
Taking to Instagram, she shared a heartwarming clip of herself playing Thando back then. It was in 2011, but because of how iconic the role was, Thando is still remembered 13 years later.
