Skeem Saam Celebrates Being Nominated In Yet Another Award Event. Two weeks ago, the SABC1 educational drama cast members won big at the Royalty Soapie Awards. Lethabo Mekoa (Ntswaki), Harriet Manamela (Meikie Maputla) and Mahlatsi Moropo (Letetswe Kunutu) walked away with major awards.
A couple of days ago, the South African Film and TV Awards dropped their nominees list for the year. Once again Skeem Saam has bagged several nomination. They have been nominated on these categories; Best Achievement In Directing -TV Soap, Best TV Soap and Most Popular TV Soap or Telenovela (Public Vote).
The show’s actors are also doing the most with nominations. Clement Maosa who plays Zamokuhle Kwaito Seakamela, is nominated under the Best Supporting Actor in A TV Soap category. Putla Sehlapelo, the man behind Alfted Magongwa character, is also battling it out in the same category. Elizabeth Serunye, AKA, Jacobeth Thobakgale is in the ‘Best Actress In A TV Soap’ category.
Shinning all the way through, Skeem Saam has just been nominated for the Behind the Scenes Awards. They are under the ‘Most Intriguing Daily Drama’, category. The BTSAs recognizes, rewards and celebrates creatives behind media and entertainment brands.
“Yaaaaay, we are nominated for @TheBTSAs in the Most Intriguing Daily Drama category,” Skeem Saam notified their fans.
