Almost a year ago, Michelle Obama, Amal Clooney and Melinda Gates graced South Africa on a mission to empower women and girls. The trio spent time in the country to discuss their efforts to unlock a more equal future for girls. While in South Africa, they brought together grassroots leaders who are working to empower women and girls and help end child marriage in their communities. Former first lady Graca Machel is among those who joined them.
In terms of food and a great ambience, the ladies were well taken care of at SIBA – The Restaurant,owned by Siba Mtongana. The multi-award winning chef, TV personality and author is grateful for the experience. She recently opened up about it, and everyone is so proud of her. Siba gushed over how having the ladies over was never something she imagined.
