S3 Celebrate the Channel’s Milestone With the Miss South Africa Live Broadcast Ratings. S3 was the official broadcaster of the prestigious Miss South Africa Pageant. The event was held on Saturday 10 August 2024, at the SunBet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria. The broadcast kicked off with the Red Carpet at 17:30, and the main event followedfrom 18:00 till 20:30.
This dazzling affair was hosted by businesswoman, multi-award-winning radio and television host and style icon Bonang Matheba. TV personalities Jo-Ann Strauss and Dr Fezile Mkhize took care of the official red-carpet ceremony. As expected the hosts did an exceptional job bringing the house down. The records are also speaking for the event as the live broadcast peak at close to 2million viewers.
“SABC’s S3 is excited to have successfully hosted the live broadcast of the 2024 Miss South Africa Pageant, where the channel peaked at 1,774,969 million viewers at the time of crowning the new Miss South Africa, including the age group from 4 years+,” according to reports.
