A week ago, Gogo Skhotheni and Monde Shange, lost their 2 year-old son, Monde Jr. The toddler was born a premature, and lived his short life in and out of hospital. Sadly he succumbed to his condition, after putting up a brave fight.
Monde passed away at 15:00pm on Monday, September 2nd, 2024, at Busamed Modderfontein Private Hospital. He was laid to rest on 07 September 2024 at Secunda Cemetery, Mpumalanga. Thabiso Mokhethi, a very close friend of Gogo Skhotheni was trusted with MC duties at the funeral.
The talented actor and TV personality has lost quite a number of close family members, and empathizes with the bereaved. Thabiso shared that this was one of the hardest and painful programs, he has had to host. He however credits the Holy Spirit for the comfort it brought the mourners.
“Good morning Fam❤️🙏🏽
This past Saturday we laid young Monde Jr to rest🕊️🙏🏽. Tumi @gogo_skhotheni and Monde’s family asked me to be the master of ceremony as we gathered to bid farewell to the young King.
It is one of the hardest & painful programs I have had to host and drive however I was not alone as the Holy Spirit filled the room and comforted all who were mourning,” Thabiso said.
He also comforted the Shange and Motsoeneng family during the difficult time they are facing. Thabiso urged them to find refuge in Chris, and assured them of his love.
As someone who knows grief he added, “Having dealt with much loss and grief myself, I have come to know this truth.
God is close to the broken hearted.
In times of pain and uncertainty, Don’t stop praying.“
