Zinhle Mabena Levels Up Her Academics. This year has seen a lot of our celebrities graduate from various institutes, in their respective fields. The likes of Proverb, KB Motsilanyane, Thato Dithebe, Phindile Gwala, Musa Mthombeni, Lupi Ngcayisa and Floyd Shivambu are among this year’s graduates.
The latest celebrity to join the inspirational lot is Zinhle Mabena. The talented actress took to social media to share her exciting news. Being the private person she is, Zinhle hasn’t shared much about her graduation. Judging from her pictures though, she graduated from the University of Johannesburg (UJ).
“Definitely the girl I think I am…👑,” Zinhle captioned her graduation content.
Zinhle has made a name for herself as one of the talented actress we have in SA. She gained popularity for her role as Busi Thwala, Bongani’s daughter, in the SABC1 drama series Mtunzini.com from 2006 to 2009.
From then on, Zinhle has been bagging all the relevant roles. Among others, she has appeared in Triple M and Jozi H.
In 2012, Zinhle made an appearance in an episode of the e.tv anthology series eKasi: Our Stories, in an episode called My Brother’s Plan. The episode follows a young woman who, after failing to attend university, helps her troublesome brother rob a local shebeen.
Zinhle also starred in the television miniseries Remix in 2013, which aired on Mzansi Magic. Additionally, she plays the role of Sihle in the Mzansi Magic telenovela-turned-soap-opera isiBaya. Currently Zinhle is doing the most in e.tv drama Smoke & Mirrors, playing Veronica.
