Kgomotso Christopher Celebrates Dr Jerry Mofokeng’s Recent Recognition. Scandal! did a thing, when they gave viewers Yvonne Langa and Ntate Neo Mokhethi. They will remain one of the most iconic friendships ever on TV. YV and Bra Moscow, as they called each other were the best of friends. They came through each other during tough times. Sometimes though, they threw each other under the bus, all in the name of survival.
The actors behind the characters are Dr Jerry Mofokeng and Kgomotso Christopher. Although Kgomotso has since left Scandal, veteran actor Dr Mofokeng, is still with the hit show. Despite YV’s absence, Ntate Mokhethi is still relevant on the show, killing every storyline he gets.
Over the weekend he was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Royalty Soapie Awards 2024. Dr Mofokeng took to Instagram to appreciate the honor, and also celebrated other award recipients.
“What an amazing evening with happy colleagues receiving awards. I was almost in tears watching the much recovered Harriet ascending the stage. It means a lot to be awarded in our lifetime. THANK YOU ROYAL SOAPIE AWARDS,” Dr Mofokeng said.
Scandal! also congratulated Dr Mofokeng on his win. Kgomotso shared the show’s tweet, adding happy emojis to it. The award winning actress and TV personality also added that she still keeps in touch with Dr Mofokeng, his wife and Lihlonolofatso Litlhakanyane (who plays Tibi).
