Harriet Manamela Return to Skeem Saam This Evening. After a few months on sick leave, Harriet Manamela is back on Skeem Saam. She will resume playing her character Meikie Maputla from now going forward.
The legendary actress has been with show since it premiered over a decade ago. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Harriet was placed on sick leave, and couldn’t continue with the role. All was not lost though for Skeem Saam viewers as another talent stepped in for her. Florence Masebe was roped in to take over from May 15th, until the end of the season. Fans were impressed over how very well Mam’ Florence slayed the Meiki character, without even trying to be Harriet.
Recently Mam Florence bid farewell to the show. She expressed her gratitude, and thanked everyone concerned for the beautiful ride.
“It’s almost time to say goodbye to the Turfloop bunch. Thank you for the beautiful ride. See you on the next… Ndi a livhuwa. Aa,” she wrote on social media.
Mam Harriet is now back to take over, from where her replacement left off. It’s exciting news for viewers as their fave is back.
